Hello everyone, I am Hallie Frobose, the author of From Fence to Fork! So a little about me, I am originally from NW Ohio (Pemberville to be exact), and was raised on a small cow calf operation. I am exceptionally lucky to have been raised by my mother, Vicki Frobose, who is a veterinarian who owns her own mixed practice and my father who is an ex-Yorkshire Field rep/ex-extension agent, and is now currently a beef marketing specialist/4-H livestock judging coach. I love my family (even though they drive me nuts) I have an older brother, Hyatt Frobose who is working towards his Ph.D at K-State, I also have two even better little sisters Hannah age 16 and Hunter 15 that I love dearly and miss dearly. We all grew up raising cattle and showing pigs at county, state, and national levels and the more I became involved in youth leadership organizations the more I became passionate about advocating for agriculture. I was a Jr. Board Director for The National Junior Swine Association and this is easily the most influential and rewarding experience I have ever had! I completed my Associates Degree at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas where I competed on the livestock judging team and then transferred down to Oklahoma State University and graduated with an B.S. in Animal Science. I am currently working in the Ag Econ department and about to begin working on my masters in Ag Education! Coming to Oklahoma State is the best decision I have ever made and I am so blessed to have the family and friends, who have made such a big impact on my life! I have met many people here including the man of my dreams, and so many connections with people deeply involved in agriculture with in the state. I just pray that my dreams can come true and that one day, I can stay here and start a career and family in agriculture. This blog is dedicated to discussing issues in agriculture, promoting meat consumption, and discussing life as a college student pursuing a career path in agriculture. God Bless and remember Keep Pork on Your Fork, Make Beef your Meat, and have an Eggcellent day!
